Hey everyone, you’re actually going to get show notes today!
My piece in CHE that caused the “hangover.”
Better Son/Daughter by Rilo Kiley (I was freaking close!)
Anyway, today’s episode is about a kind of hangover that those of us who are neurodivergent can feel after a “big thing” (read: thing that causes a spike in that sweet, sweet dopamine). Just because we’re good at it doesn’t mean a) it’s easy and b) we don’t need to recover from it.
This was one of my favorite episodes. And not just because Aimée shared a major feat of strength!

This was exactly the podcast I needed to hear today. I’m the type of person who frequently experiences productivity hangovers, and while I understood that I was experiencing a mini-burnout, I never really connected it to my ADHD.
Thanks for the great content.
One of my favourite episodes!! Oh boy I relate fully with the hangover. *Sigh*
And I LOVED and laughed at the image of scorpions at the bottom of bucket. I am like that too, but I did not have the words to describe it so far (and the grace to accept that it’s ok).
Thank you for broadcasting all this valuable relatable stuff, with unparalleled high amounts of wisdom and irony.
